FIRST PASSPORT SCHOLARS

Inspired by the late Michael Smith and his surviving husband, Anthony Antoine McWilliams, the Michael-Anthony Foundation encourages academic scholarship while maintaining work-life balance. A division of the Foundation called the First Passport program focuses on the perspective-transforming power of international travel.   First Passport Scholars encourages young people to explore cultures and careers outside of the United States.High school juniors or seniors from South Fulton County Public Schools — Banneker, Creekside, Langston Hughes, McClarin, Tri-Cities, and Westlake — will be matched with mentors who share their career interests and be taken on an all-expenses-paid trip to London in 2021.
